Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Lehner

Wolfgang Lehner was a member of the research staff almost from 1995 to 2002. He holds a master's degree (Diplom-Informatiker, 5/95) and a Ph.D.(Dr.-Ing., 10/98) in computer science (database systems). From Dec. 1998 until Nov 1999 he was a visiting scientist at IBM Almaden Research Center and worked under the direction of Hamid Pirahesh in the DB2 Business Intelligence Group. From 10/2000 to 2/2002 Wolfgang Lehner was temporarily assigned to the professorship for database systems at the Martin-Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg. In 7/2001 he finished his habilitation and earned the venia legendi for computer science. Since October 2002 he full professor and head of the database group at the Technische Universitaet Dresden.
