Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Lehner

Wolfgang Lehner was a member of the research staff almost from 1995 to 2002. He holds a master's degree (Diplom-Informatiker, 5/95) and a Ph.D.(Dr.-Ing., 10/98) in computer science (database systems). From Dec. 1998 until Nov 1999 he was a visiting scientist at IBM Almaden Research Center and worked under the direction of Hamid Pirahesh in the DB2 Business Intelligence Group. From 10/2000 to 2/2002 Wolfgang Lehner was temporarily assigned to the professorship for database systems at the Martin-Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg. In 7/2001 he finished his habilitation and earned the venia legendi for computer science. Since October 2002 he is full professor and head of the database group at the Technische Universitaet Dresden.
