Paul has been with the Dept. of Database Systems from the very beginning in 1979. Paul was a wire-haired dachshund. This is why you cannot contact him via e-mail. Better try Mrs Knechtel who kept him on the lead.

Paul is not a nickname, but a real name. Ask Mrs Knechtel of the whys and hows of dog naming.

Paul died on September 18, 1995.
